My Work From Home Routine | How I Stay Productive

Hoi zäme! Welcome back to FiliSwissed. Today, I will be sharing with you our work from home routine during lockdown. I haven’t had difficulty adjusting and I’m able to do my work and accomplish more working from home. This routine is the outcome of years of adjusting my set-up. In my previous post, I talked about my self-care routine and thought I’d let you know how my Swiss lockdown routine looks like as another routine video that may help you in structuring your work from home routine to stay productive.

Because I have been an e-learning student and have had the option from work to have 1-day home office per week, it isn’t a new situation from me. I haven’t had difficulty adjusting and I’m able to do my work and accomplish more working from home, knowing I don’t need to travel so long to and from work since it would take me about an hour travelling one-way alone.

This routine is the outcome of years of adjusting my set-up wherein I used to do my work in a library but because we weren’t allowed to eat there and I needed to complete hours-worth of work, I then changed to a Starbucks store but it was always packed at the time that I’m there, so then changed to doing my school work at home amidst potential distractions like the PS or catching up on my soaps.

I take into account my travel duration since I find that my productivity time is lost and due to my motion sickness, I can’t work properly in moving vehicles, and yes that includes the train.

Work from home requires snaking and eating regularly

  1. As an association manager, I have an opportunity too to work from home if I do not have any meetings and appointments. Minimal adjustments when the lockdown is implemented here. To share as well, if I have any creative blocks or demotivated, I would spend half an hour walking in our community.

    1. Definitely! When you break down your day, you start to see what’s unnecessary that there’s no need to stress about things just aren’t as important as your daily duties.

  2. so simple but meaningful to keep motivated and have a healthy lifestyle.
